Hi there, I'm Ana Devlin Gauthier (she/her). I am a professional facilitator, policy nerd, and connector with a deep love for the Amherst community.

Having served as a District 5 Councilor for the past four years, I have gained keen insights into the complexity and nuance of the Town Council. I have navigated the processes effectively, demonstrated independent and critical thinking, and have introduced and supported policy which drives Amherst forward on key issues including balanced budgeting processes and climate action.

A graduate of Amherst public schools, I have been deeply impacted by our community my entire life. I returned to live in Amherst and put roots down here in 2017. Driven by a strong belief in the value of civic engagement and building within one's community led me to serve on the Dog Park Task Force, the Conservation Commission, and the Community Preservation Act Committee before being elected to serve as your District 5 Councilor for the first time in 2021, and again in 2023.
